Someone made the Lexus 2054 from Minority Report, and you can own it

Minority Report keeps resonating in pop culture not because it was a great movie (it was okay) but because of the crazy user interface paradigms that started showing up in real consumer electronics years later. For car nuts like myself, it also resonates because it featured one of the coolest custom, one-off concept cars from a real automotive brand in recent memory: the Lexus 2054, a completely bizarre coupe envisioned by Lexus for what a performance car might look like a half-century in the future.

Now don't get me wrong, it's not a perfect replica of the Lexus 2054. But it's reasonably close, and it's apparently built on a Porsche of some sort. There are worse cars to base your custom build on, that's for sure. (The seller says it's powered by a 2.7-liter V-6, though, and it's not clear what Porsche that would be — I'm inclined to think it's actually a flat six.) And apparently, it has cold air conditioning, which is always a plus.

The seller is looking for $95,000, but is entertaining other offers — including a Corvette as a partial trade. Anyone out there with a Vette want to pretend to be Tom Cruise for a minute?
